Matt currently works as a Sr. Production Coordinator for a media company based out of Richmond, Virginia. He has been building various websites for the past decade, some professionally, some for fun, and some for friends. He has yet to make his millions by selling a small self started company to a larger mega-corp, but the dream still lives on in his heart. He also dabbles in photography, audio, and video, all of which at one point were hobbies until they got mashed together in a huge jumble that is known as his job description.
When not working, he enjoys golfing, sailing, scuba diving, guitar/mandolin, and playing with his dog Roxy. He also loves cooking and coming up with new flavors for Samantha to try (he has a 100% success rate with her taste buds thus far!)
In addition, Matt is a geek that enjoys varied types of projects ranging from programming small applications for Windows or Linux environments to building LCD based projectors and home brewing beer. If you share any of these interests feel free to drop him a line at fireballmatt@gmail.com he’d love to hear from you.
As this is not Matt’s first blog, he is well aware of the consequences of no traffic on morale and post ratio. He also is very glad that Samantha is around to help him keep his wits.
Samantha graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She also has her Masters degree in Technology in Education. Samantha teaches 6th grade and loves every minute of it.
For fun she enjoys experimenting with new recipes for delicious meals. She is trying to do the healthy thing for both her and Matt and have been succeeding for the most part. Samantha also tries to find dinner ideas that will not break the bank!
She also enjoys hanging out with our very sweet dog Roxy and the mischievous cat, Gizmo. Roxy is a black lab mix while Gizmo is just a very playful black cat. She also loves scuba diving. The sad thing is, she gets very seasick if she is not careful. So she prefer the quiet peaceful river, lake, or big holes in the ground filled with water. Samantha is also into knitting and is still trying to finish her first blanket.
